So - Kid's a death god. This means he's not exactly your average bear on your spiritual spectrum, so for those of you out there whose characters can sense spiritual things/presences... yeah, he's got one. Most of the time, it'll be leashed and he won't really stretch out his soul so his strength will be hard to gauge, but when he does let it out, the character will see that on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being a normal vanilla human and 10 being the Lord of Death, Kid ranks about a comfortable 8. (Which makes him happy, because eight is a perfectly symmetrical number.) His power has a... dark and scary feel to it, for those who are sensitive to that sort of thing.
Also. Kid's got issues. Issues of a symmetrical kind. So. Um. The chances are good that this might come up and you might see him freaking out/be freaked out upon. If you don't want this to happen, please just let me know and I'll try to work around it!
HOWEVER, there is also a power that he has which Kid will be relying on a lot in Luceti, since his weapons aren't here: Soul Perception. Basically, he can see your soul, and from that judge your character's essential power level and basic character traits. Yay?
Kid will be using this a lot. He's in an unfamiliar environment - again, without his weapons - and taken from the middle of a war. He is one of the three top tier soul perception users in canon, and even with the power cap, if he's near you he'll get a good read, so if you'll take the time to fill out these few questions, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Like for Katara, I think it would be fair for Kid to pick up that she has some sort of affinity with water, but since waterbending isn't a THING in his world, he'd have no idea what that means. And for Rogue, he'd be able to tell that she has some kind of special ability (and since it involves psyches, probably have a good guess that it has to do with souls in one way or another) but he would have no clue what it was, just that there was something hinky there. However, if I was still playing Rangiku, Kid would definitely be able to pick up on the fact that her powers are similar in nature to his (since she is also a type of death god) and would at the very least be able to tell that her powers are of a spiritual sort.

My character is a witch/demon but a good kind so he'll be able to sense that darkness in the power but get a read on the character traits too and so will be confused! My character's soul looks like this:
See icon! It looks a lot like that, basically - the skull (complete with the omega-shaped crack on his head) and afro. You even get canon colors: white, tinged light green. It's an unnaturally bright soul as well, though I'll get into that more below.
My character's soul would reveal that my character is basically:
Excitable and energetic, for starters, probably annoyingly so. But in stark contrast, there's a strongly patient nature there, too, that places high value on keeping your promises. Besides that: he's cheerful. Eager to help, and eager to please.
My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses:
Brook's skill-set is an odd combination of things, but the one that I think would stand out the most is that he has some soul-oriented abilities himself.
As I said above, Brook's soul is bright. In canon, Brook's soul has been revealed to be different from typical souls, producing a unique and powerful energy that is almost physical in form (with a faintly chilly aura). When using it outside of his body, this makes it visible even to those who normally wouldn't be able to see souls (and being a mini-shinigami, Kid may be able to pick up on it even without using Soul Perception, to some extent). Tl;dr it's stronger than average. Think along the lines of Mifune's soul equaling 99 normal souls, etc.
Due to the almost-physical state of his soul, and since Kid is smart, he may be able to guess Brook is capable of astral projection. He may also pick up that he combines his soul with music, somehow.
It would be great if you could work with this/And here's something I really think you should know:
Kid's probably the only person in Luceti who'd be able to figure out how Brook is alive despite his body. That energy his soul emits is enough to keep him out of the afterlife. So the power that allows him to live in human world is not organs or muscles, but his soul.

More intelligent than he tries to pass himself off as, with a strong sense of loyalty and duty. Kinda lazy, kinda reticent and serious, but surprisingly sensitive. He works well in a team.

Due to the way chakra works, I'm gonna say he can probably guess that Shikamaru has some ability to mold his 'soul'. Since he channels that power through his shadow so often, he'd probably also be able to reason his abilities are shadow-related somehow. Average human soul in terms of power despite all that, though.

My character's soul looks like this: Blue, smiley, with his epic cool hat. (see Icon for reference)
My character's soul would reveal that my character is basically a:Kind, cheerful boy with a striking maturity, understanding of the world, and the ability to bear heavy responsibilities.
My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses: The ability to teleport Portal!style. I.e. This means he uses portals. Otherwise, he has a spiritual link to his twin brother...which is broken at the moment. He also has energy potential for a child, though he has not nearly hit his maximum capacity.
Kid may notice that Yugo also possesses a form of Soul Perception, though it takes concentration and focus to use it.
It would be great if you could work with this/And here's something I really think you should know:
Yugo is what is known as an Eliatrope--a race of people with the ability to teleport via magical portals and are canonically from a planet different from the one that the main storyline takes place on.
Due to the wierdness of Yugo's canon, Kid might notice that he's been reincarnated at least once...and maybe that Yugo's twin brother is a Dragon.
If you think these are things that Kid might notice, go for it. If you want more details, ask; his canon is pretty darn obscure, and I don't mind answering questions.

Silvery with a slightly blue undertone, about the size of a clenched adult male fist, and sports a ‘mop’ of hair very similar to his actual hair style. There’s a ‘flaw’ in the form of a three tiered ‘claw mark’ along the left side, in approximation to where the neck might connect. This flaw is black and edged with glowing red—it is the remnants of the damage done by the vampire infection. His eyes are the same dark blue as his real eyes, and seem kind if a little standoffish. His expression usually seems to be a muted sort of smile.

Can Kid use Soul Perception on your character? Oh yes.
My character's soul looks like this: Dark green, tinged with dark-gray, calm smile and a bit shimmery, like looking at it through a heat wave and with faint scarring.
My character's soul would reveal that my character is basically a: Outwardly cheerful individual, strong, but with dark tendencies kept in check, very curious, insanely protective, and always calculating.
My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses: Epilepsy. Don't think the Soul eater world really gets into the whole Brain disorder thing, but it'd probably read similar but different to Stein's soul (maybe, it's been awhile since I've checkout Soul Eater). So, maybe Kid doesn't know what epilepsy is, but James Soul shows some sort of mental/brain disruption.
It would be great if you could work with this/And here's something I really think you should know: Well, James has undergone modifications to his body before, like tails, extra limbs, changing his whole biological structure at least once, but has always been returned to normal with little to no adverse affects. This might show up on his soul, because a lot of the changes were drastic, even if he doesn't remember them, his body and soul does. Up to you. Anything else, just ask. 8D

My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses: A huge spiritual power. He'd probably have trouble naming it as Vash's own canon has issues with this. Just that he pretty much should have the power to create nearly anything at will or use that for destruction. (You know, if he knew how to use it.)

He also can command demons, which can be feel like...a commanding presence (for lack of better words).
Roy: He got a wind rune, so Soul can sense that Roy can use healing, wind and sleeping spells. At least an affinity with the wind (not that high, since Roy only have Rank C in it...).

Yes for Joshua, Repliku, and Saten. He can try for GLaDOS but she is an AI so despite having emotions and stuff I'm going to say she's at her core just a few thousand (million) lines of code and has no soul.

Joshua: White and swirly. Kinda like this. Also depending on how we want to translate TWEWY Souls to Soul Eater souls, Joshua's may also have a distinctive crack along one side with a small but visible chunk missing.
Repliku: Dark grey and linefacy with Heartless antennae.
Saten: Hers would probably be completely black with sort of a nebulous shape.

Joshua: he's pretty much a holy being, in as much as his canon has holy beings. He's also very loving and selfless, but distant.
Repliku: loyal, confused, lonely, stubborn, but a good guy at heart.
Saten: arrogant, proud, independent, easygoing

Joshua: he's one level above those who are called "shinigami" in his world, but he definitely has powers related to death (though if we're being technical, his powers are probably most related to the line between life and death).
Repliku: he's got darkness in there plus a bit of light (though that would be weak), as well as something else for his power-absorb but I don't think Kid would manage to get any handle on what that is.
Saten: DARKNESS. So much darkness. Though hers isn't like... bad darkness, it's just darkness-darkness.
It would be great if you could work with this/And here's something I really think you should know:
Joshua: would probably be able to detect when Kid is using this on him and will be very suspicious about it because messing with someone else's Soul in his world is Kind Of A Big Deal.
Saten: living manifestation of darkness, so have fun looking at that :Db

Can Kid use Soul Perception on your character?
Ion: Yes!
Cheyenne: She technically does the same thing just to see, so go for it. :|b
My character's soul looks like this:
Ion: Green and very smiley. It has his hairstyle.
Cheyenne: Illusionist souls are weird since they only have about 5% of their original soul left. In her world, normal souls are usually in the shape of that person's body, but in her case, it's a very small, round, weak light. However you think a soul that is "barely there" would look in the Soul Eater universe is how hers would look.
My character's soul would reveal that my character is basically a:
Ion: Kind-to-a-fault, overly-trusting, calm, and patient. He also has a very strong will.
Cheyenne: By all means, it'd seem like she shouldn't even be alive. Most of that 5% is just the Power section of her soul, so there's very, very little personality to be seen. Which... is probably what he'd see. She linefaces at everything and has to remind herself to smile or frown so people know how she's feeling. :'D
My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses:
Ion: He has control over Daathic Fonic Artes, which are very powerful spells only Fon Masters can use, so they're a bit different than the usual Artes other Tales of dudes would use. He also has the ability to read the Score in his world, which is essentially a large stone with the planet's memory of the past and future written on it. But because his body is weak, he tends to faint after using his powers at all. Even Filial magic is a bit taxing on him.
Cheyenne: She can create illusions, though he'll probably notice the fact that she feels very evil first. Which she herself isn't evil, all illusionists have a curse that creates an aura around them that makes getting physically closer to them (in Luceti, only touching them) impossible without creating feelings of anxiety in that person. Kid is probably strong enough to be immune to just a touch, but if she ever hugged him or something, he'd suddenly be reminded of just how asymmetrical everything in the world is. It'd be awful. :'D
Also, the souls that she's fed on in the past aren't technically souls anymore once they get consummed, so he won't be able to sense them anymore. Though whether you think he'd be able to tell that she has the ability to draw souls out of the body without killing someone or not is up to you!

Ion: Ion is a replica and as such is only about 4 years old. I'm not sure whether or not Kid would see anything different because of that. He also might notice that someone else in the village (Sync

My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses: Extreme sports prowess and incredible speed. Not to mention she can stand and walk on clouds, manipulate the weather, and sustain things an ordinary being could not due to her cartoon physics.

Absolutely no darkness. His heart is full of pure light, but it's also incomplete. That being said, he knows numerous magical abilities, many elemental in nature. His strongest skills are with light and wind.

My character's soul looks like this: Grey with kind of a deadpan look. His shoulder-length hairstyle is visible.
My character's soul would reveal that my character is basically a:
Complicated and conflicted individual. One who's seen better days. Surface traits include arrogance, jealousy, sarcasm, and a tendency to keep his inner feelings to himself by keeping up a cool and collected appearance. However, he cares deeply for his friends and would do anything for them, even if it means going down the wrong path, which he's done in the past.
My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses: Darkness, and a lot of it, although there is some light within him. Riku possesses a strong ability to manipulate darkness, though he's picked up other forms of KH magic, largely elemental.
It would be great if you could work with this/And here's something I really think you should know: Potential Keyblade wielder, and he's been possessed before. :|b
Golden's Duo
Can Kid use Soul Perception on your character?
He totally can - with one major stipulation. 99.9999% of the time - that is, when not explicitly given one somehow by a mallynapping, event or otherwise - Robert has no soul. His world is entirely free of the paranormal, and as such he has nothing that could be considered such - like a soul. So Kid is free to look, but he will find a void where a soul usually ought to be.
In the event Robert somehow got a soul, though... Kid can totally look at it.
My character's soul looks like this:
Assuming Robert somehow has a soul, it'd probably look somewhat like this - dull blue, floaty, the odd M-shaped bang line and glasses, and the hints of a lab coat lapel.
Of course, normally there will be nothing whatsoever.
My character's soul would reveal that my character is basically:
Again, assuming he can see anything to begin with... it'd probably reveal Robert's intelligence, rationality and logic, affinity for science, anxiety and awkwardness, and the fact he tends to be rather introspective and curious about everything.
My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses:
... not... much? Is it possible to tell that someone has several anomalies just by looking at zir soul? If it is, then perhaps it might be visibly obvious that... several things about Robert's soul are... "off", for lack of a better word. (Namely: Asperger's, OCD, anxiety issues... to name the most prominent ones.) Other than that, he is... a vanilla human with nothing spectacular whatsoever save his incredible intellect.

Well... again, he usually doesn't have a soul, so none of this would ordinarily be visible. I am absolutely fine with Kid freaking out at Robert about this; it'd be great, actually, if it happened somehow.
Also, what with Robert's OCD, he is also abnormally sensitive to symmetry and orderliness. So it is quite possible they will both be triggered by the same things... This would be awesome.
Kazooie:
Can Kid use Soul Perception on your character?
Totally can! Kazooie has no way of noticing this or anything... She'll just think it's weird. But she's seen weirder stuff...

This pretty much sums up what Kazooie's soul looks like - bright red and yellow, with an ethereally-grinning beak and oversized, glowy greenish angry eyes, as well as her crest and a feathery "tail". The whole thing probably looks... vaguely cartoonish, for lack of a better word, and rasterized.
My character's soul would reveal that my character is basically:
Proud, loud, and stubborn; brash and exciteable, always willing to save the day and be a hero... a thrill-seeker, maybe almost too willing to push herself. And definitely not in the least bit cuddly or fluffy, nope. (Except she has a tiny tiny granule of that buried deep down...)
My character's soul would reveal that my character possesses:
Great strength and speed - abnormally so, for her size - and prowess in all manner of athletic stunts. Also the ability to fire Eggs...? I dunno if it'd reveal that but he might realize she has some power to manipulate certain elements somehow... Some of the Eggs are tied to elements (Ice and Fire Eggs usually).
Her bravado and ego practically count as strengths, too, and those are enormous.
It would be great if you could work with this/And here's something I really think you should know:
Well... three-and-a-half-foot-tall cartoon bird... she will definitely stand out, and won't have any problems fourth-walling herself. She calls herself a cartoon and a character in a video game all the time. |D Surely this will be a little weird...
